MEET OUR TOURGUIDES!
We hire actors and storytellers to conduct our tours, and are proud to have such a talented group of tour guides at this time. We know you will enjoy your tour with them. If you get VINCENT PHIPPS as your tour guide, you are in for a real treat! Vincent is one of Chattanooga's premier storytellers. He has appeared regularly at the Talespin storytelling festival here, and was awarded first place in the experienced and professional storytelling category at the 2009 Dogwood Festival. Guests in Vincent's tours have often commented that Chattanooga has the best ghost tour they have ever been on. Vincent is also an author, professional speaker and communication coach, and a television talk show host on Point of View, the nation's longest-running publicly produced program in television history. So if you are looking for a fantastic story-telling experience, Vincent is the guide for you! Vincent's tours are usually on Fridays, but some other days as well. Hope has 14 years of storytelling experience, as well as several years of theatre experience throughout the state of Georgia, where she also taught improv. She has also performed as a tourguide at Barnsley Gardens, where she played the part of Julia Barnsley, and now brings her exciting style to Chattanooga. Hope is our "ghost magnet", and has the most detailed and factual ghost descriptions. So if you're looking to be creeped out, and have the best chance for a ghost photo, Hope is the guide for you! Her tours are most often on Saturdays, but some other days as well. We particularly liked this photo one of our guests recently took of Hope, which also has an orb to the left of the picture. John has 12 years of tour guide experience, and actually originally trained our outstanding guide HOPE as a tour guide when they both previously worked together at New Echota. John has also worked as a tour guide at haunted Barnsley Gardens, and has had some interesting experiences of his own that he might share, if you're lucky! Ghosts seem to like John, as you can tell from the orb following him in the photo below. So if you're looking for a a mix of entertainment and creepiness, check John out!
